Interpol’s New Leadership Demonstrates Lack of Will for Reform

In their recent article in The National Interest, Sandra Grossman and Ted Bromund discuss the troubling election of new INTERPOL president Ahmed Naser al-Raisi, a UAE general facing credible accusations of torture. INTERPOL is frequently criticized by human rights activists for its propensity to be manipulated and abused by dictatorial and autocratic nations. The election of al-Raisi has done little qwell those concerns.
