Catherine Walker

Catherine Walker is an immigration attorney with a passion for navigating complex immigration matters. Currently based in Miami, Florida, Catherine has specialized in removal defense for people with criminal convictions, including those detained by immigration authorities.

Catherine graduated magna cum laude from American University Washington College of Law. She was awarded the prestigious Public Interest Public Service (PIPS) Scholarship and recognized with the Peter M. Cicchino Award for Outstanding Advocacy in Public Interest. During law school, she served as a student attorney with the International Human Rights Clinic, representing clients before the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) and filing Federal Tort Claims Acts on behalf of families separated at the U.S.-Mexico border.

Her career has also included roles with non-profit organizations, where she developed expertise in advising on the immigration consequences of criminal convictions and collaborating with public defenders to secure favorable outcomes for clients. Catherine is fluent in Spanish and proficient in Portuguese, enabling her to serve diverse clientele effectively.

Admitted to the Maryland and Florida bars, Catherine is known for her meticulous case preparation, strategic advocacy, and commitment to achieving the best outcomes for her clients.
